Chef de Partie Jobs in Ski Resorts

Assume responsibility for part of a restaurant or a large hotel's kitchen when you work as a chef de partie. Sometimes also called assistant chefs or sous chefs, a chef de partie may specialise in any particular area of cuisine creation, and the preparation and presentation of meals will be his or her main task.

Chefs de partie also help with general kitchen management, menu development and the maintenance of health and hygiene records. This is a senior position in the kitchen, and the senior chef de partie will usually take charge of the kitchen when the head chef is away. Experience is the vital criterion, and formal training is also a plus.
