Set around the incomparable Matterhorn mountain, Cervinia is a high-altitude and snow-sure resort that's well suited to beginners and almost unsurpassed in its offerings for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. 200km of piste in Cervinia alone ensure a nearly inexhaustible supply of terrain, and a link to Zermatt makes available a truly enormous offering.

Cervinia resort is pedestrianised and charming with an array of little streetside shops and cafes. Accommodation is only hotel or apartment-based; no chalets are available. The apres ski scene at Cervinia is vibrant and focuses around the bars in the centre of the village. It's particularly popular among British visitors and as a weekend destination for residents of nearby Turin and Milan.
